Ms. Alemi received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in Global Studies with a minor in Art History. She obtained her juris doctor from Loyola Law School Los Angeles and joined Schorr Law as an associate in October 2015.
During law school, Ms. Alemi served as a judicial clerk for Justice Fred Woods of the Second District Court of Appeal of California. This experience allowed Ms. Alemi to obtain valuable insight and knowledge into the appellate process and trial court law proceedings.
Throughout law school, Ms. Alemi served as a volunteer at the Disability Rights Legal Center, and as an executive board member of the Stephen O’Neil Advocacy Mentoring Program. Ms. Alemi also worked as a Loyola writing tutor, and participated as a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board.
Ms. Alemi has represented clients in various different litigation matters, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Assisted in negotiating a 90% reduction in the judgment of a real estate matter.
- Obtained a settlement of over $650,000 in an employment discrimination/retaliation matter.
- Assisted with seeking judgment against seller of commercial real estate based on fraudulent estoppel certificate.
Ms. Alemi is admitted to practice before all state courts in California and before the Central District of California.
Ms. Alemi’s hobbies include cooking, traveling, and practicing yoga.
